Maruta Gredzena is interested in what happens when nothing remains still. A life shaped by constant movement has shifted her artistic practice from

creating objects to creating spaces for interaction. Rooted in porcelain and ceramic sculpture and expanded through printmaking, her practice now takes the form of installations in which paper, materiality, and playfulness become tools for exploring communication beyond language.

Moving between the Baltic coast and the Iberian Peninsula, she has developed a migratory approach to making. She is drawn to places that feel only

temporarily safe, treating movement as both method and subject. Through her work, mobility and the

fragility of belonging are transformed into moments of encounter, where form, color, pattern, and participation become a shared language.
